No fee due unless candidate is hired. Fees start at 20%.

Contingency recruitment refers to a type of recruitment in which the recruitment agency collects fee from clients only when a qualified candidate is searched and placed by them for the position in question. The name is connected to the fee paid to the agency in the event of placing a candidate for client's position.

The name is connected to the fee paid to the agency in the event of placing a candidate for client’s position.  A fee is only paid if the our agency refers a candidate who is hired.  Fees differ from industry to industry and agency to agency.  Placements in the tech field typically range from 15 percent to 25 percent of the candidate’s first-year basic salary.

Retainer to secure services, which is deducted from the fee.  Fees start at 20%

In a retained search, the agency will charge an upfront fee to the client to conduct a search. They will operate on an exclusive basis meaning the job will only be filled through this recruitment company. These recruiters work very closely with their client and will take their time and use an agreed methodology to find the best person for the job. The process is usually rigorous with a shortlist of anything from three to ten names being presented before interviews commence. In a perfect world, the retained recruiter will be able to present five candidates with the ideal skills, location, salary, etc. and all the client has to do is pick the one they like the most.

In a retained search, the client is typically expected to pay fees in  stages.  At RecruitLocator we assess 30% to start the search, another 30% once interviews begin, and the final 40% net 30 days after our candidate is hired.

Hourly or fixed fee for service.
