Parts & Procurement

Genuine SMI components for StarMix plants, and a sourcing desk for everything else — including the agriculture parts that dead-end at the dealer counter.

Agriculture & hard-to-find parts

The counter says discontinued. The number superseded twice and the third one is on backorder. That is where this desk earns its keep.

Send whatever you have — a number stamped in a casting, a photo of the broken piece, or just the make, model and what it does. Old iron is worth keeping in the field, and most of it is still findable if someone is willing to make the calls.

  • Tractor and implement parts across common and obsolete lines.
  • Superseded and discontinued numbers traced to a current equivalent.
  • Aftermarket alternatives when OEM is gone — with an honest note on quality.
  • Wear parts and consumables sourced in quantity for the season.
  • Hydraulics, bearings, seals and drivelines matched by dimension when the number is unreadable.

Request parts

Send it however you have it

A part number is ideal. A blurry photo of a casting works too. If the machine is down, say so in the first line and it moves to the front.

  • Text a photo to +1 515 720 0800
  • — same number, photos of a down machine go to the front
  • Email paul@equipsolutionsgroup.com
  • Or fill in the form on the contact page
  • Machine make, model and serial. Serial numbers resolve most number conflicts on their own.
  • Part number, if legible. Include every character you can read, even partial.
  • Photos. The part, where it mounts, and any stamped or cast markings.
  • Quantity and urgency. Down machine, scheduled maintenance, or stocking up.
  • Ship-to city and state. So freight is in the quote from the start.

Down machines get called back first

If a truck or plant is sitting, say so up front. Everything else works in order.
